What is there to tell you about me? I am a 35 years old, the oldest of two girls, born to two former US Marines. I was born in Okinawa where my parents were stationed at the time of my birth. I have grown up all over the place. Being a Marine brat I have seen lots of moves in my day.
I spent most of my teen years and the better part of my mid twenties and early 30s in Northern California. My mom's parents and siblings have lived in the area since 1971. It's probably the closet thing I have to what I would consider a "home town."
I graduated from high school in 1994, attended college at the local community college before becoming a parent to my daughter, in September 1996. I moved to Las Vegas in June 1997 and lived there until September 2000. While I was living there I attended college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
From 2000 until May of 2008, I worked at various law firms as a certified paralegal, before giving it all up and marrying my Sailor in June 2008. I moved to Honolulu a week after our wedding, which is when my crazy life as a MilSpouse began.
I adore cooking, I love to bake. I am so excited to be able to travel which comes part of being a MilSpouse. Having the blood of a Military Brat in my veins, I don't think I am ever really satisfied staying any one place longer than three years. I am a born again Christian and mom to two wonderful children.
Currently, I have put any kind of career on the back burner to spend my time at home as a SAHM Navy Wife and I absolutely love it. I was never able to have that option while I was a single mom, raising my daughter.
